My favourite beauty salon. The ladies are lovely and very welcoming!! I come here for all my treatments. Really recommend eyebrow threading, eyebrow tinting and Hollywood wax here.
When I arrived I was kept waiting for quite a while which was quite annoying. I started my treatment 20 minutes late, and another customer was made to wait too which suggests it wasn't uncommon.... The woman who did my nails was lovely and seemed to do a great job, but i've come home to find that one is bubbling and cracking not long after the treatment - and I've not done anything out of the ordinary/particularly manual. Other than these two points - clean salon, great location, lovely well mannered staff with the right amount of small talk! Thanks :)
Everything would be good if only I haven't had a very bad reaction to the first waxing treatment. I'm aware it's not the staff's fault however I did ask the technician about possible skin irritation and what to do if it occurs and she said 'no, it will be fine'. But it wasn't and I had to look for tips online. I think the staff should know that every person reacts differently and maybe give some advice in case there are some issues. Otherwise it was all fine.
I love the fact that they use hot wax here. It's all really clean and professional and the staff are really friendly!
5 minute walk away from Stratford international and a 15 minute walk from Stratford station, the girl was very thorough happily waving me in when i was early! After not waxing for a while checking if I was okay throughout the whole period. Hot wax is pricey however, worth it in the long term. Once you get waxed, you'll never want to go back to shaving
