I booked a hair cut here because it had overall good reviews. There were a couple of negative ones but I decided as the majority were positive I’d give the salon the benefit of the doubt. However, I was wrong to do so. I’m afraid to say this place had no customer experience or basic hygiene. I wasn’t offered a drink. Washing my hair was rough and slap-dash. The brushes that were used were absolutely disgusting, they were all covered in what looked like at least a good months worth of matted hair from customers before me. The chair was way too low and far away from the mirror so I couldn’t really see my hair. Overall the hairdresser spent about 2 minutes cutting the ends off with no technique (I will however say she got the length exactly right). I wanted my split ends trimmed and they were just simply heated down which has probably just made them worst. Even worse is that the hairdresser was so consumed talking to her mates in the salon that she really didn’t bother to pay me any attention. At one point she even stopped cutting my hair to go and chat to someone else! I’ve been to places that have charged a lot less and have done a lot more. Unfortunately it felt like this salon wanted to do bare minimum and having to pay £24 for the experience was painful.
