Everything was great, especially my massage, although one lady at reception was a little abrupt after I was asked to wait in the relax room as my table for lunch wasn’t ready, to then be told off for waiting there because I was late! I explained I’d been told to wait there and got scowled at. All other staff lovely though and a great experience
Overall, the spa afternoon was very good. The spa facilities are plentiful, and well maintained - perhaps the pool is a little small. On a busy weekend it soon filled up and there's not necessarily much room for everyone. There are also limited showers and toilets available in the ladies which made for a long wait once we'd finished.
The rasul experience was good - the suite was clean, tidy and perfectly fit for purpose. The staff were educated and explained the process to us thoroughly and there seemed great attention to detail.
The robes could perhaps do with replacing, the loops for my tie cord had all come unpicked but other than they were were great as part of the experience.
Our afternoon tea would have been faultless however, we paid for champagne and were not given it! I have contacted the hotel direct about this but had no response so feel a bit ripped off. Food was lovely though - made and served to a high standard.
I think this is the best facial I've had! My therapist advised me on my skin afterwards and suggested what I could do to improve it longer term. The facilities are small but perfectly formed.
We had the most relaxing day couldn't fault it. Afternoon tea wasn't fantastic, they happily gave us a vegan option!
