Been a good few hours since getting my treatments - eyelash extensions and spray tan. Eyelash extensions were done with my eyes open (not saying that’s bad, but I’ve always been lead to believe the glue is harmful if done that way) with no eye pads to protect lower lashes meaning my upper lashes stuck to my lower ones sometimes. Eyelashes look okay though will have to wait a while to see if they last. Treatment was £22 for lash extensions when I’ve gotten them done in other places for less than and they lasted perfectly fine - the treatment wasn’t bad, just not worth £22.
Spray tan experience was okay - disposable sticky feet were provided as well as undergarments however ‘shower cap’ was obviously reused which felt odd for hygiene reasons. Didn’t notice it at the time as no mirror in the room to check but tan has gone very patchy. I’ve tanned a lot in my life and gotten it professionally done a lot and it’s never gone patchy - don’t know what’s been done to make it like that. The lady that did it didn’t really do the inside of my arm or anything which is the area that’s gone the most patchy.
Overall, I think the eyelashes were okay if a little overpriced, but I’m not too fond of the spray tan - could have done it myself with better results. Probably won’t be coming back here but the eyelashes were okay for a last minute decision.
I explained that I had had a back injury and Carrie was extremely sensitive to that during that. Furthermore, she was very friendly and made me feel very comfortable. I was here on holiday and if I'd have had more time I would have booked an other appointment.
