"NO STARS (can’t adjust the star rating). Had a horrible experience! I went for a much needed haircut after lockdown for the first time. The lady cut my hair uneven, and gin general very different to what I had asked, even forget to cut the front (I had to remind her) and kept saying "ups" while cutting my hair. The manager was also not wearing a mask most of the time which made me feel super uncomfortable. I was really shocked by how poor the haircut was so called back the next day. They didn't seem surprised when I mentioned who cut my hair. The manager offered to fix the hair the next day for free; a different lady evened it out as much as possible (she was really nice!); but it was still not what I had wanted initially of course as it was now much shorter. The manager himself then offered a free balayage which made me really happy - he said he wanted to ensure I return as a customer and leave a positive review. This is only why I initially left 5 stars here (can’t change it anymore). Just a day before the balayage appointment (a month later) I received a call and text saying they'd have to cancel the appt as the hairdresser was off sick. They said I'd have to pay for the balayage if I'd still want it and did not offer an alternative appt for when the hairdresser might be back in. I asked them to tell the hairdresser to call me back when she is back in to schedule another appt. I never received a call so I called again a week later and spoke to the manager directly (hoping this was all due to miscommunication – the texts had been pretty passive aggressive). He already did not seem happy at all that I called. I asked if we could reschedule for the free balayage he had offered me and he said I could come the following Saturday. Again only one day before the appt. I get another text again saying that they wouldn't offer a free treatment anymore, and I'd have to pay for the balayage (or get 50% off a haircut). I could not believe that they would do this again to me, such an upsetting experience. Unprofessional & very rude."
