Therapist very nice and gave lovely facial massage., she would have got 5 stars.
Small but important touches missing for a spa day experience, no water fountain, no bags to put wet swim costume in, dressing gown too small and no means of changing it, not enough lounges around the pool,. Big things, the steam room was out of action and that I really what my friend and I love. Nowhere to do and relax between treatments, nowhere to have a coffee break or eat a civilised lunch in your gown one member of staff ( he would have deserved no stars) had quite a dismissive manner when we asked where could we go to get a drink. Bottom line this not reall-y equipped to be a spa experience. Feel sure I would be happy if staying in the hotel and using the facility but this is just a hotel trying to make money out of what it has and no thought has really been put into a spa day.
It was a lovely Spa experience, peaceful and relaxing, until at 3 pm 2 mums and 5 ( 6) kids came and the kids were led loose in the pool, running, jumping and screaming and shouting. It took a while until someone had the courage to call the manger, who then told them not to run and jump in order to prevent an accident. Put the water fights/play and screaming continued and the adults could not enjoy their swim anymore. I then politely ask one of the mums, who was sitting next to the pool doing nothing, to tell her children to calm down. She was very rude and told me to have swimming lessons elsewhere. That spoilt the experience.
