Good option.
Had a pedicure last second on Sunday. I was very happy with the booking process. Easy and straightforward. The place was okay and the staff overall polite. Unfortunately the lady who did my pedicure had no idea what she was doing. Nails were uneven and with different shapes, she left dry skin on my feet and it took her ages to apply the nail polish, she had to re-do every nail several times because of smudges everywhere. I could have done a much better job myself, saving money and time. The worst pedicure I have ever had. The supervisor/owner didn't even bother come at the end of the treatment to ask how was the experience. she disappeared in the back of the shop and I was locked inside. I had to wait 10 minutes and ask someone to let me out. Unbelievable.
So unfortunately I didn’t enjoy my visit, it was first first and last. I arrived and was risked straight in to the treatment which is mostly likely my fault as I was 4 minutes late. The beautician didn’t asked if I had any issues with my back, she didn’t even get me to fill in a form about injuries or allergies which is mental as I am allergic to nuts. Even though Chantel was a nice girl I felt she lacked confidence and didn’t really put much effort in. I did wonder if she just qualifed! At no time was I asked how is the pressure. The worst part of the massage experience was the room was so small we hardly fitted in to it and the bed didn’t have the face hole to place my face in, this is important as I was face down and found it hard to breath. Before the facial I quickly told her about my allergy as a lot of facial products have nut oils in them. Chantel left the room for a while, while looking in to what products have nuts in. Great she done this but gone for over ten minutes. Working with any products day in day out you should know the ingredients. Facial wasn’t to bad but just again didn’t feel her confidence. Thank god I didn’t have to pay as paid throug Treatwell very awkward at the end at the reception desk all 3 therapist were just standing at the desk. I work with in the industry and I’ve never felt that awkward.
Had a facial with Shannah. Very relaxing and my skin looks great.
Very rough massage, not sure they had much experience / qualifications. Facial was nice but no conversation as to what was going on face or what was happening which is a bit uncomfortable in a dark room, plus I got jabbed I’m the eye with a thumb which wasn’t ideal. Still nice to be pampered but not the best experience unfortunately
