The waxing was great. She had attention to detail and gave me the shape I wanted. We did have a little trouble communicating as her English was below par, but nothing that hindered the waxing. Great value.
She gave me the haircut I wanted not like other hairdressers. Polite staff, understands English well enough but rarely speaks it. The salon is clean and easy to find. Definitely would recommend the hairdressers and going back there again.
I have to say I really enjoyed my treatment, salon is very easy to find , I was seen straight away, the salon isn't busy which I love because they don't rush your hair, the lady spoke little English but she was very lovely and asked if I was ok throughout my treatment , I strongly recommend this salon you won't be let down :)
I have experienced the waxing at this saloon with Dana and i can say it was the best experience i've meet by now...i felt no pain and it let me totally clean.i would honestly recomended to anyone...you won't regret.thank you so much Dana,it is a real pleasure to me to come there!!!
I walked out of Rica's salon in Dollis Hill after less than 10 minutes into the treatment because I was scared by the lack of skills, quality of the experience, and the level of pain I was being put through - nothing I have ever experienced in many years of attending similar treatments. The 'professional' who started the waxing session could not speak a word of English and I had to resort to her colleague to make myself understood. The beautician didn't know what to do, was spreading wax all over my legs and bikini line without any logic. She started with the bikini line immediately, couldn't get all the wax off so she was literally pinching me with great persistence to take the wax off, bit by bit. I had done waxing in the past and it always worked out OK. Believe me when I say that my pain threshold is high, I am no wimpy moaning lady!! Gosh, I had to stop her my eyes were welling up because of the pain, I would have ended up in tears. Such a horrible way of working. When she showed me the bit that she had managed to do, there was still plenty of hair in the area and she said 'Good?', and I said "No, not good enough!!", so she even took her tweezers out!! What was she thinking, I have no idea. Tweeze the hair off my private bits, one by one?! Chaos, disorganised, painful, messy. Don't go.
