I absolutely loved my experience! My therapist was Rita, she was so amazing. The direction was slightly hard to find, but once I arrived, she made me feel relaxed and comfortable. My first treatment was a dermalogica facial - from start to finish I felt at ease. I enjoyed the fact that she explained every step to me and gave reasons of why she is using a particular product, especially since this was my first time getting this type of facial. I then had a shoulder massage - which was very relaxing - the music made it extra special. Finally, I had a luxury spa manicure (my first) and it was so different- nothing like normal manicures, oh no.
I really liked that she made me feel at ease and we had a great conversation (lets be honest sometimes some people can make you feel like an alien in their establishment). I have already recommend this place to friends already and I will certainly be going back. Good value for money - words cannot express just how happy I felt after I left- thoroughly enjoyed it.
For anyone wanting to go - you will not regret it - try it and see!
I had visited Rock Chic Beauty for facials quite a few time prior to there change of location and always really enjoyed. This latest trip however has put me off and will not be returning. Aside from the slightly odd location in the reception area of a shared office and the water heater next to your head which sounded like a pneumatic drill my biggest problem was with the therapist. I saw a different lady this time to my previous visits. The treatment itself was lacking as out of an hour i spent 15-20 mins under a steamer, 15-20 mins with a mask on. Whilst getting rid of some of the blemishes on my skin she insisted on making me look at what had come out of my skin, as a grown up with some spots / blackheads i am aware of what they look like and do not think it is appropriate to be forced to look at them 'fat that has come out of your face' as she so nicely described it. When i was lying there trying to relax with the mask on all i could here were phone notifications going off and her shuffling around. there was very little in the way of treatments other than the steam, a mask and some kind of lotion.
This was not in any way a relaxing facial and did not feel worth the money
My first facial treatment in London and I am really satisfied. It was relaxing, and I loved the massage at the end! It gave me extra energy to survive my day at work.
I bought the offer because it seemed to correspond well to my needs and budget. I found it quite easily (located 5min from Waterloo Station), which is always a plus. The place is really small and gives the impression of having been set up in a hurry (but not in an off-putting fashion) , but I was told it only opened recently so I am sure in time it will improve its interior. Zee was lovely and very polite and seemed to really know what she was doing. I went for a deep cleanse facial and when I left I not only did I feel like I got what I paid for but I felt very calm and relaxed from the experience. I definitely recommend for people who are looking for good service and results on a low budget.
The salon is small but perfectly formed. My therapist was really nice and performed my facial expertly. She used nice products, explained what she was doing as she was doing it and was very attentive to my personal skin care needs. Her attention to detail was great - down to ensuring that she finished with an SPF30 product, as it was a hot and sunny day. I really enjoyed the entire experience and didn't want my treatment to end!
