Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend this salon & I won't be returning. The therapist was pleasant & friendly but the room was at the very back of the building next to a kitchen so although my facial was good & she had some nice relaxing music there was a constant banging & clattering of dishes etc. being washed. There appeared to be various other companies in this building & my appointment was at 5.30pm when lots of staff were finishing up so perhaps it wouldn't be so noisy early in the day but I'm not sure. The manicure, well sadly I could've done better myself. Poor selection of nail polish, a very unsteady hand & generally not worth paying for at all.

I booked a facial and pedicure with Rock Chic. The location is great, between Strand and Covent Garden, in a very pretty building that's furnished all white inside, with a very classy look and feel to it. I was greeted with chocolates (which I kindly refused) and tea, and we then set off for the treatments. The selection of nail varnish is decent, with good brands such as OPI available. The therapist actually specializes in facials, so that was of a much higher standard than the express pedicure. The face and neck massage were very pleasant and efficient as well. They used Dermalogica masks and massage cream, and applied different products to the different segments of the skin, to better suit the needs of the respective areas. Would come back for the facial.
The salon is situated in a really convenient location and the waiting are is gorgeous. The beauty room is a little off putting as we had to walk through the basement and kitchens to get to it and once inside it was a little cramped and over crowded with furniture. However, the therapist, a wonderful lady from Hungary was lovely, welcoming and professional. The manicure was good (not the best I've ever had but it has lasted a week with minor chips which is a good sign) although the polish choice was rather limited. The facial was absolutely brilliant and was a proper facial (with steam, extractions and skin analysis) rather than just a cleanse, mask, moisturise which so many salons offer. I would certainly go back and would recommend the offer as it was great value at £28 for an hour and a half of treatments!
At first I couldn't find the place. There was no sign or anything outside the building. I was buzzed in by a shop that pointed me downstairs. Inside was nice enough but apparently they had just opened so the room wasn't even ready to be used properly, so the facilities weren't great. The facial itself was fine, but the ambience and service was nowhere near as nice as some of the spas I've been to in London that would, but for the discount, be priced roughly the same. So I guess if you get a good voucher then go for it, otherwise its way too expensive for what you get. Although it will be nicer now if it has had time to furnish properly.
Easy to book this deal by email, and it's in a central location , minutes away from a tube station. Loved that could use my voucher at the weekend. Despite arriving 15 mins early, was made welcome by the receptionist. The therapy rooms are located in a the basement of the building, which was nice as it was very quiet. I had a nail shape and nail buff rather than a manicure, was offered water on my arrival. The facial was lovely, used dermalogicia products and I left feeling very happy .
