Not a typical super-mod, 'high-end' trendy looking shop like most - Rockalily has a more alternative look with vintage dressers as the hair-cut stations and lots of knick-knacks lying about, an almost grunge feel. If you're happy as I am with a simple, relaxed environment it works really well.
My stylist wasn't chatty or overly friendly but was very profficient, gave me a great cut with very little direction and with little fuss (and didn't try to sell me any products, a huge plus I think). Everything went smoothly, I was in and out in under and hour and I was happy with the result and the price as well.

Great colour and cut, really interactive experience with the stylists! Much more open to options on colour and cut than your standard hair salon - really welcoming, friendly and good value for money. I've found my new hairdressers!
I had a great experience at Rockalily. The salon immediately felt very different from the average high street hairdresser - partly the great personal style of the staff, and the fact that they use second hand dressing tables instead of modern mirrors. I came away with a great cut - to be honest it's not entirely what I expected/asked for, but it looks really good and has solved the problems I was having with my old style
