It felt like my haircut was very rushed and wasn't a very relaxing atmosphere. I usually love having my hair washed but the sink was so uncomfortable on my neck it wasn't an enjoyable experience and neither was the whole experience. I wouldn't go back
Ladies' Haircuts
I had a haircut with Tanya at Rokas Hair - and it was a wonderful experience! She was very friendly (but without the compulsory hairdressers' small talk about holidays!:), and very professional, she knew what will work and what will not with my type of hair, and gave me a great hairstyle I asked for! I also loved that she was not rushing, and she was really gentle with my hair. The place itself does not look very fancy from outside, but it is cute and cosy. You can do a bit of of people watching as you sit next to a window facing a quiet green street.
Prices are very reasonable, and it is a great alternative to overpriced Canary Wharf salons (and it is only a short walk away from Canary Wharf). Would definitely recommend this place (in fact I came because of a colleague's recommendation!)
The staff were slightly late with my appointment but the value for money was great. Haircut was just what I wanted. Would visit again.
