Initially sceptical because the salon is a small room in the corner of a large, modern salon but there was no need to be. Really nice treatment, soft music playing to set the atmosphere as relaxing and calm, offered refreshments on arrival and my needs were catered too. Wasn't the best nor least painful hollywood wax I've had, but it was still good. Much prefer the hot wax for such a sensitive area. Not all the hair was gone as you'd hope, however I was aware it was a teeny bit shorter than usual due to needing it last minute.
Great salon and lovely staff! I've never been disappointed, having come here every few weeks for over 6 months, for a range of treatments. Couldn't recommend more.
The overall result was acceptable, but I experienced way too much pain. I've done hollywood waxing before with hot wax and with normal wax and never has it been this uncomfortable. I was told that I had particularly hard and long hair because I had used VEET recently. I understand that, but the wax had to pulled from each portion at least twice before it would come off completely. If the hair is too long, it should be trimmed before wax is applied. This is the beautician's responsibility. Also, I thought she was slightly rude. She was probably joking, but she said I had a low pain threshold. Even graded me a "5 out of 10". I would think that's a particularly rude way to speak to a customer and didn't appreciate it very much. Anyway, overall - I wouldn't go back here. Brazilian waxing company and Beauty Tonic were pleasant experiences. Will stick to those.
