The treatment I had is painful and not sure about the results. Also for a cellulite treatment I was only offered one side of my legs not both as I wrongly assumed I could have done.
JR Hair Studios is a small but friendly salon. I was made to feel welcome and upon arrival was offered something to drink. The stylist, Robert, was attentive and did a good job of highlighting my hair. The cust was good too. I really enjoyed the massage chairs when my hair was getting washed. I almost fell asleep! I would recommend this salon to anyone. Definitely worth the money!
The salon was very busy and slightly on the chaotic side (this is a good sign though). Unfortunately, there were 3 clients waiting on a 2 seater sofa for their stylists, all of which arrived after 10am. I was one of these people!
My stylist was a lovely chap (I think) but barely spoke any English. He immediately apologised for this and said he had only been in London for 1 week. He coloured my hair without actually asking me what colour I wanted and it was only when he started to put it on (when i stopped him) he told me it would match. The colour is in fact a perfect match, which is great and he obviously has a great eye for these things, however, I may have wanted to change my colour for all he knew!!!
The cut was meant to be very straight forward - a trim. I have been growing my fringe for sometime now and explained this to him. He seemed to understand, yet I still managed to leave with a shorter fringe than I have ever had before that is totally unmanageable and has probably set me back about a year in my hair growing plans!!! Nightmare!
Overall, the experience in the salon was acceptable, however, I would strongly advise that anyone going takes a picture, translator or asks for a stylist with a better grasp of the English language!
Excellent Value for money I had the lipocalv and thought it was excellent and could see a slight improvement after just one session! The therapist was firendly and helpful and was also good at recommending other treatments that would suit me. I will definatelt be booking futher treatments there.
Very good, salon easy to find, staff very friendly and helpful. Was easy to book appointments by email, quick responses. happy with the treatment, and excellent price via wahanda. WOuld do this again
