The welcome I had from the receptionist was great. She was also happy to accommodate any requests I had, which was over and above my expectations.
It was one of the best massages I’ve had. The therapist is clearly qualified in a number of disciplines and this reflected in her advance techniques (I too am a massage therapist, so I know a good therapist when I ‘feel’ one!) She was also very attentive to ensure the room was warm enough, the pressure was correct and I was comfortable.
I do have a criticism to make: the entire treatment should have lasted 90 minutes, but it only lasted 80 minutes. Also the mask is left on for just under 10 minutes (of a 30-minute facial, which is a significant amount of time) and the therapist leaves the room. As it accounts for about a third of the treatment time, it would have been nice for the therapist to give a hand and arm massage whilst the mask is on.
The rooms do not look very clean and the therapists have a harassed air. One was arguing with a customer when I came in. The towels used were scratchy and of poor quality. There was no consultation given prior to the facial, the massage was ok. The manicure didnt involve any cuticle work. Even though the place is cheap...it is not good value for money as the quality is poor
Tiny salon on the corner of a road. Quiet atmosphere when I went. Only one other client there which made the experience pleasant as I am used to a very nusy and noisy hair salon. Staff is discreet.
I initially had some trouble getting the hair cut as my appointment was delayed by over half an hour due to the customer before me being late - thus there was no time for my hair to be cut so I had to come back another day...
My return trip was better, the head massage and treatment were amazing! And the stylist was very friendly.
Its not the best cut I've had, but that could due to me never being able to explain how to cut my hair in 'hair dressing language' very well...
Overall, I enjoyed my experience at the Salon. The only thing that disapointed me was that my hairdresser ( don't remember his name, sorry) would ask me questions that he already asked me. Eg: where are you form? I answered and then 10 minutes later: Where are you from? I understand in a way that hairdressers see many people, but from what I have gathered, I was the first customer of the day...
