I feel like there's a scale for massages, 1 being a light tickle and 10 being so firm it's like being beaten up. I like a thai massage but this was definitely a 10.5. It wasn't pleasant at all and the pain continued days afterwards.
Unfortunately I also wasn't asked any medical history, nor warned that my arms would be pulled in a way that my chest would be exposed. I'm no prude and am comfortable in myself but I disliked the lack of communication and courtesy.
