My penultimate visit to Ruby's nails was a bit of a disaster as my stones came off and one middle nail came completely off after a week. I planned to visit the following week but could not make it so it was at the beginning of the 3rd week when another 3 nails came off. This set was a completely new set and I should have only gone in for infills??? When I booked the appointment at that time I only had one nail missing so I was going to explain to them about it coming off in the second week and have infills on the other nails. However when further nails came off, instead of having infills I had to have new ones again. I paid through Treatwell but at the Salon they said I should have gone straight away or phoned them and taken a picture etc. As I have mobility issues I cannot always go immediately and through being unwell sometimes I cannot go out at all. However I do understand what she was saying and I suppose I should have telephoned them immediately. Anyway the outcome was that I paid another £10 which with what I had already paid would have been the price of a full new set anyway (but I only had some replaced) bit ironic really!!! I was not particularly happy.
The first old man I was with was not very nice. Did not speak or understand me and he all so hurt the sides of my fingers with the heat of the file. Then the lady sitting next to him exchanged conversations in their language and she took over the overall finish is not good . They are not very professional sitting with their head phone in talking.... very rude ..I had to come home and use my own uv lamp and put a coat of glitter on top of them
