I’m afraid that I’m quite disappointed by my experience here. The massage itself was firm and I have left feeling better in my shoulders but before I had been introduced to the therapist the lady at the front desk had shouted her name quite aggressively twice. I was shown into the room and had to help myself to a towel to cover up. There was no chat prior to the massage starting and no discussion of where to focus or pressure!
During the massage, my therapist shouted in response to a question tonsomeone outside the room. After a few more minutes, somebody else care in and had a conversation with the therapist whilst she continued to massage me. To top it off, toward the end of the massage my therapist marched to the door and had a very loud shouty conversation/argument with someone. When she came back she was obviously quite angry and the massage got a lot harder and faster.
Through the massage there was no effort to make the atmosphere relaxing and one of the most disturbing things was the doorbell which kept going every time the door opened or closed.
Most of the massage was done through a towel which was quite small so I felt exposed as it kept sliding off me, the towel was also quite rough so quite scratchy!
Unfortunately the massage was only 49 minutes after I paid for an hour so overall, I don’t think I will be coming back!
