I left my appointment today feeling quite upset and utterly shocked by the way I was spoken to. I have never written a review before, but feel it important to after my experience today.
I was asked to pay £7 more than the price list clearly stated. I explained that I had a price list at home and never usually get waxed at Singhar, so decided to give it a go and was convenient that it was open on Sunday. I did not expect so much resistance, lack of understanding and aggression and was told "We wouldnt welcome you back if you did want another wax"
The manager should look not only reprinting a pricing list if there is a £7 difference between hot and strip wax but also training and stressing the importance of customer service with their staff. Not only is there lots of competition from other beauticians in the area but also some small business are shutting down in the area and such behaviour is not going to encourage further business.
Not only was I disappointed by the way I was spoken to, but even when I was getting my treatment, I had to ask the girl to change her gloves, as she didnt put fresh gloves on (she was wearing them when she collected me from the waiting area which involved opening the door twice, and thats just what I witnesses her touching) She also managed to flick was in my hair!! (on my head) and covered my feet in the dry wax.
I do not recommend going to this salon at all. Unless you enjoy being spoken to with an aggressive rude manner and zero respect.
I think anyone would get a great experience depending on which staff member you get. I think Monica is a very helpful member of staff from my experience.
Had nail extensions done here by a lovely girl - I believe her name was Elena. First person to really listen to what I wanted and made sure to check I was happy with what she was doing throughout. Other members of staff also seemed extremely friendly and accommodating to customers. Would definitely recommend!
