I have given my treatment five stars - the salon and treatment room was clean and very 'Xsmassy' - my appointment was on time and I was happy with the waxing and the therapist was quick too.

The offer of £15 for Hollywood/Brazilian wax is fantastic, but in my opinion not defined clearly. There is a big sign in the window advertising it at £10. When I asked about this I was given a few different, disjointed answers, all by the same person, my therapist. One of which is that it is £10 is for strip wax, and £15 is for hot wax, normal price being £35 (which is advertised on their website). My therapist then said it was usually £20 for hot wax, and £15 for strip wax including a free underarm or eyebrow wax... Unless you pay in advance then it is always £15+free ua/eyebrow wax... It seems as if you are charged whatever price you originally see it advertised at £10/£15/£20/£35 unless queried... She made it all very long-winded!
Anyway, the greeting was polite, the staff were pleasant, the salon spacious, and reasonably clean. The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxed.
My therapist was polite and friendly... Her technique quality was questionable... Not bad, not great - She got the job done, eventually. The real result will be in the rate of regrowth and amount of broken hairs making an appearance, over her method of practice... Perhaps less experienced than what she'd made out? She missed quite a few areas, and I was stuck together even after she'd totally finished - She admitted to, and rectified both points without me mentioning them first thankfully!!!
Great recession busting price, not too bad a job done despite the "technique"... It was a generally "so-so" experience. Would go back when short of money (hence making the booking), but so far wouldn't make it a regular visit...
