I had to wait a good few minutes before I was acknowledged by staff. Got directed to seats to wait and then into a room to get ready and was left to it for about 10 mins. I was wearing a maxi dress and having a leg wax, I didn't need to do very much. Another staff member then came in to do my wax and just started without a hello I introducing herself. For the actual wax she coated about half my leg in the wax and then crisscrossed over my leg removing it with the strip. She only used about two strips per leg so it didn't feel very effective. I also asked at the time if my underarms were long enough, she thought they might be just about, they weren't, but she kept trying and then said she would tweeze them out! Needless to say I wasted a fiver in still having very red sore and hairy underarms (still a few days later).
I went shopping after and when I got into a changing room I realise tht there must have been wax still on my legs, that had then got covered in fluff. When I got home and had a proper look I also realised that they were actually still quite hairy too!
I found te place quite odd as a whole, even though there were two people having treatments when I walked in, the place was completely silent there's usually the radio or something at least! While I was having my wax I could hear a mum instructing her little girl how to wipe her bum, which provided a little entertainment!
I had Hollywood and for £10 and the place it was a great value - very professional lady. One thing - I wish they would do backside (aka between buttoks) too. Anyway, a good service so far!
I arrived at the salon about 5 minutes late, the technician was with a client so I had to wait about 25 minutes for my treatment. The technician was very good once she started, the best manicure I have received in a long time.
