I had a cut and blowdry on my long, thick hair and all I asked for was a very small amount off the ends and to be thinned out a little. I thought this was simple enough as I didn't want to go too out there on a first visit, however I left with sections of hair so short they don't even reach my ears! I've had many hair dressers using thinning scissors on me before and the result has always been very graduated and subtle, this is anything but subtle. As soon as I noticed the stylist going a bit high with the scissors I pointed it out but she assured me it would all be fine and blend in, it does not. There is one section in particular that I pointed out immediately as she was blowdrying my hair but it was too late, it was already cut by then and the damage was done. She apologised slightly and went to speak to the other stylist (who I assumed to be the manager). He did not apologise at all and seemed to ignore the situation. Obviously I'd already paid through treatwell and at the till was asked for my voucher code and told I could have a free treatment to make up for it, however I will not be returning to let them near my hair again!
