The whole experience was wonderful. The venue was a bit difficult to find but once I did it was great. Its not maybe the conventional beauty salon type of premises being on the first floor of an old building right in the middle of Edinburgh and sharing the facility with a whole range of businesses. The therapist came to the reception area right on time an took me up to a room that was nice and warm and had soft music playing .
I had booked an hour massage and the time passed too quickly! Her technique was fantastic and I came out of it feeling really flexible and relaxed.( I have spinal problems and get sore and stiff a lot)
At the end when it came to paying she thought I had paid on line which I hadn't but I had not got the right change. Failing to find any one who could change a £10 note the therapist insisted that I just pay £30 instead of the agreed £34.
I went over the road to have a cup of tea when I had finished (that is another bonus of the location - its a lovely wee place ) and got some change to hand in the remainder of the money. The fact that she was prepared to take £30 and also that she was insistent that regular exercise and not numerous massages was the key to improved posture etc showed how genuine the business.
I would definitely go back.
Such friendly and professional staff who provide a top quality massage for a very reasonable price. The salon is quite difficult to find, but when you are there it's a lovely experience!
