First of all: The staff was incredibly friendly, lovely, and really took their time. Which is why this review makes me all the more sad.
So, when I left the salon, I thought my hair looked fine. But it had been curled and all and you know how it is... The first wash at home is decisive. And it was. Unfortunately, my balayage was not at all natural and subtle as I requested, it was rather... bold. I now have 3 clearly separated, distinctive hair colours on my head. The cut is such that the layers are not smooth and blended, but very pronounced and chunky. Additionally, only the first layer is coloured blond, while the one underneath is still completely brown – which emphasises the fragmented look even more. It almost looks like I would be wearing a wig. Which would be great, when that's what you're after. Sadly, I wasn't, or at least not to that extent.
This is such a pity, as everybody had been very, very dedicated and nice. But I now need to get my hair fixed.
