I was a bit put off at first as this salon had only one review and it was bad. I live locally and I have walked past the salon and it looks modern and clean from the outside, so I thought I'd try it.
As I walked in I was surprised that the salon was empty, its quite a large salon. All the staff wear a white uniform a bit like a dentists outfit! The three members of staff in the salon were all young European men. They occasionally spoke to each other in non-English but not enough to make me feel uncomfortable.
The experience wasn't luxury but I came out with what I wanted and what I paid for. The highlights were done well and the cut was executed to a high standard.
I would visit the salon again.
I'm unhappy with the service of both Wahanda and Sanrizz. I booked and paid in full a treatment at Sanrizz, Muswell HIll. The website assures you of the date and time you pick being confirmed as soon as you make your payment. I'd carefully selected a time and made sure it worked out with other appointments on the day. I was then informed the next day that my time had been moved back by an hour. How inconvenient! I complained to Wahanda but didn't receive a reply.
On arrival at the salon there was no apology. The service by the stylist was meagre. Her communication skills were poor, she didn't listen to what I said my longer term aim with my hair was, an hour later, when she was basically done, she asked me about it again...I didn't have the umph to argue my case with her in detail, as the things I did point out I didn't like about how things looked, she just lectured me why what she'd done was a better idea than what I asked for. Tiring.
I'm completely not satisfied with the experience and had expected more from Wahanda in terms of responding to my complaint.
