Really good experience. I had a head, neck and back massage, and the staff were extremely friendly and attentive. The massage was excellent. The pain in my shoulders has completely disappeared. Would definitely use Sapphire again. 5 stars
Not a good experience:
My beautician’s hands stunk of stale smoke which I feel is now all over my face. She was very rough, moving my face by pushing and pulling it. She did not explain any of the treatment to me despite me saying I’ve never had it before. Whilst she was waiting for my perm to set etc she was tapping away on her phone.
Don’t go here, staff and especially their services are awful. They’re completely absent when it comes to waxing practices.
1. They wanted to do a Hollywood wax with warm wax- never have I seen an established place actually think that is okay. When I asked for hot wax as any other place would have already known to use, I was told off for not telling them beforehand and charged extra too. To be honest I didn’t really care about the charge, it’s just unacceptable that they think using warm wax on an intimate area is okay- extremely unprofessional. She didn’t even know how to apply the hot wax on properly so that it grasped all the hairs for food removal, kept saying my hair was too short when it clearly wasn’t and I get waxed at the same length all the time. They’re really outdated in their practices and need more education about waxing in general.
2. When she was using warm wax to tidy up and remove other hairs (at my request) because she kept refusing and saying they can’t be removed when clearly we managed to get rid of a lot. It was a back and forth fight on whether or not she could be bothered to try and remove hair. I went to have a Hollywood so all hair would be removed not go back home half waxed. Still didn’t have a good finish and had to go to another place to get the bikini line done again the day after, when I told them what happens they said at least she could have gotten rid of the bikini line hairs properly. Just not bothered at all, so disappointing.
3. Not only did I have to guide her in the removal, at the end I noticed she had been using the same waxing stick double dipping in warm wax the whole time- it’s disgusting. How can you not know that this is the most unhygienic thing you can do. First thing I did when I went home was clean myself- I felt gross. So incredibly unprofessional, they have no idea what’s going on, place is a joke.
I would not even give this place 1 star but there’s no option for no stars. The only reason I had to come here was because my regular lady was fully booked but wow can you see the difference between a good and bad aesthetician when you have an experience like this.
Over priced, unprofessional, rude and very outdated in their practices. Don’t waste your money or time.
