My skin felt lovely after my treatment although during application the scrub was quite intense. The massage part was relaxing but not quite as firm as I hoped.

The spa is in a unique location, but the actual interior is really nicely decorated and very calming. The staff were very nice and accommodating - due to the stiffness of my muscles, my masseuse switched to a Thai Aroma Massage, which was still very pleasant.
These ladies do not kid around, though. Their hands are very strong and they're set on undoing every knot in your body. Some of the reviews have stated they don't appreciate the "bear the pain" mentality, but I appreciate the honesty and how the masseuses strive to actually undo tension in your body (within reason, of course). Maybe I go in with the perception that not ALL massages are meant to be super relaxing, especially deep tissue.
My masseuse was really lovely and we even got chatting towards the end. Unfortunately, I didn't get her name, but I'd love to have her again. Overall, the ambience was very nice, though some calming music playing during the massage would have been nice as I could hear the radio/TV playing upstairs and conversations between the employees/clients!
