The end result was great, however I was asked to pay £20 extra for a toner, which they put on my hair, without mentioning I would be charged. The reason I book through Wahanda is to try new salons at good-value prices, and I was more than a little disappointed that they didn't mention that a toner, which was only on my hair for 10 minutes would add £20 to my bill. Whilst my hair looked great, I did feel like I had been pushed into paying extra without being notified first.
Was pampered by a lovely brazilian lady. Haircut however costed £46 which i think is a tad pricey for a quick trim which was what i had ask for. Nevertheless very happy with the outcome and service. I have quite a difficult and annoying hair type but my hairdresser really work well with it!
Sadly this wasn't quite as successful as I had hoped... I went as soon as possible after work for a 6pm start and all seemed to go well wight he highlighting. After the shampooing and application of a toner my hair was so knotted that is took 20 quite uncomfortable minutes to brush out my hair. having just ordered a colour treatment I wasn't given a blow dry which was understandable but the back of my top had been left very damp which meant I got very cold on my way home. After getting home I finished off drying my hair and once I could see the colour properly discovered that what was meant to be subtle sun kissed light sections were very obvious and not blended where they had been applied (I was there for baliage). I arranged to go back in on Saturday which they happily agreed to but the process trying to rectify the colour took a lot longer than it should (2 and a half hours) - I should note I have a haircut at the same time which I am very happy with but the areas when colour was applied still remains less blended that it should be for baliage and I have to ensure my parting doesn't fall in a certain way so it can't be seen. I am grateful they at least took the time to mostly rectify the problem .
