About me
Following a 10 year career as a dancer, during which I pushed my body to its physical limits, I began exploring ways to heal through movement, including dance, yoga and various somatic therapies.
Personally, my body has required a lot of rehabilitation and management of misalignments and niggles having grown up as a gymnast and then dancing professionally.
I'm passionate about helping people to feel at home in their body, to manage pain and injuries and to encourage people to keep moving in ways that are enjoyable and sustainable.
About the massage
My approach to massage is intuitive and intentional. Through meeting the body with full presence and compassion it is invited to let go and for tension to unravel. I work with the nervous system to calm and soothe and relieve tension in a way that the body and whole being can integrate, encouraging longer lasting benefits.
I use a combination of Swedish and deep tissue techniques as well as Thai Yoga massage and joint mobilisation.
I use the appropriate techniques to suit the individual, in order to support and contain or to energize and move stagnant energy.
