About

I am a registered nurse and an Associate member of and trained with the Acupuncture Association of Physiotherapists, qualified in Western Medical Acupuncture (WMA). This is the insertion of fine needles through the skin into various parts of the body to treat a wide range of conditions. WMA differs from Traditional Chinese Acupuncture in its approach to where you are putting your needle and why; considering anatomy, biochemistry and neurophysiology.
