Sara was great, very friendly and highly professional. I couldn’t rate her highly enough. A lovely lady with great skills. She approaches her work with a professional attitude and a calming confidence, so I wasn’t worried at all about my hair. I get very anxious about getting my hair done somewhere new, but this experience made me very happy. I will definitely be returning soon.
My first visit to this salon was amazing. The staff were extremely kind and attentive. The service was exceptional. I went in for a balayage- nothing too fancy and I came out with a very natural, seamless blend! Would definitely trust them if I were to decide to go for a brighter, bolder colour change! I got a very warm welcome, wonderful hair service + blowdry! Plus, the value of this whole service was a huge bonus! Very thankful to them and excited to return! The location of the salon was really nice too- just 5-8 min walk from Chalk Farm station!
I definitively discovered my new saloon, you're stars!
Before booking a treatment at Joelles I was a bit sceptical at first as I was changing hairdressers. The whole experience was great! Sara did my colour and haircut as the person supposed to be cutting my hair called in sick. I am so happy with my hair for the first time in ages! I can’t believe the results and I will definitely be going back to Sara next time.
Although being reassured by friends and family the colour and cut look good, it’s not what I asked for. To be honest the service and ambience in general wasn’t great. There was minimal chat about what I wanted, just wanted to see photos. The colour application was very slap dash, my initial chop wasn’t done with much care or attention and the full cut was done but another stylist - not ideal. A dispute in Italian occurred about the initial cut between the stylists which frustrated me because any concerns about my hair not being as I wanted should have been communicated to me first and foremost, not attempted in private. The hair wash also largely consisted of a face wash. Lastly, you have to pay additional for toner which annoyed me, I think any decent hair dresser should include it in the price as a part of the colouring process, especially as you’re paying before you’ve even attended the salon and it should definitely not cost £20.
