Turned up on Saturday morning for a haircut (booked for 10:30) and there were already two customers being looked after by two ladies - one of the ladies came over and asked what I needed (didn't seem to be expecting a booking) and took me straight to get my hair washed shampooed and conditioned. Normally I'd expect someone to sit down with me, introduce themselves and talk through what I wanted but I got the impression they were quite rushed (they did briefly talk through this once my hair was washed and I was sat in the chair though). Noticed that the towel they used to wrap my hair had some brown stains on it... also wasn't offered any water or anything.
The actual haircut was pretty good - I only wanted a trim and Mariola (not sure on the spelling) did a good job, pointing out where my last hairdresser had messed up on the thinning of my hair and correcting it. Regularly checked that I was OK with the length etc.
Overall - generally satisfied with the experience. This isn't somewhere I'd go for a pamper/luxury treat though, just somewhere for a quick hair cut. I don't believe that the cuts are worth £70 at all - I paid £35 and that's exactly what they're worth. I'm wondering if they just claim they're worth £70 in order to make people think they're getting a really good deal and book with them?
The stuff at the salon were very polite and friendly. I was late 15 min, as my train was cancelled and they still were very kind to take the time and cut my hair very well. My hairdresser was Manjola. She really took the time and put effort into cutting my hair. I’m very pleased with my haircut. Big thank you to Manjola.
