**Before going any further, let's state that my hair is unusually thick and long, so I noticed that most hairdressers struggle with proportion when cutting it.**
1- The Wella treatment for long hair was very good, it left my hair beautifully nourished, shiny and soft. Highly recommended it. The young guy who took care of it was also very good at head massage.
2- The haircut was made too fast and is disappointing. The girl who took care of it didn't really listen to what I wanted, which was just a trim of the end, and I specifically asked to not cut the ends in straight line - I wanted a kind V shape, more natural looking on my long and thick hair - but she did the opposite. I don't know if she just ignored it or if it was a problem with English understanding. Then she asked me if I wanted to layer a bit the strands near my face, showed me a length that seemed fine so I agreed. However she cut it shorter and on one side, very thick.
Once the guy roughly dried my hair, they didn't even show me the overall looking with a second mirror. The face view wasn't very convincing, but I rarely like my look right after a haircut, so I decided to wait after the first wash to really make my mind.
Now I can tell it doesn't look good, and luckily my hair grows fast so the weird thick too short strands around my face will get better, but I'm not happy with that haircut, and it was confirmed by honest friends opinions.
I saw lots of happy haircut reviews for this salon, so it might just have been bad luck due to the nature of my hair, but if yours is similar to mine, my advice is get the treatment, and if you have the haircut, make sure the person doing it actually understand you 100% and executes what you want.
Sara was fantastic - she gave me a lovely balayage and cut! The toner wasn’t included in the price for this treatment, so had to pay an extra £20 which was unexpected, but they were very apologetic about this. Would definitely visit again!
I needed to pay more and I need even to come back for fix my hair because they cut it very bad. I really would like to put a photo of the result. The colour is acceptable but is not exactly what I said.
