I attended the hairdressers to wash and blowdry my shoulder length (4C) AFRO HAIR.
Adam did my hair.
The wash was good and at the end he added a leave-in product to my hair, in order to help seal in moisture (which was great) as i suffer with extremely dry hair.
The blowdry was amazing!
Usually stylists completely towel dry my 4c hair before blowdrying it. Which is a hugh error in my opinion) as it results in my extra dry hair being pulled and tugged. Adam left my hair semi-wet whilst he blowdried it which gave it a nicer finish (thanks to the moisture sealant) with less shedding (thanks to the method he used) I was very impressed.
Cons: There are no debit card facilities onsite but a cash machine is close by.
Finally: I would recommend the salon. It is not luxurious by any means, rather small and quiet but i like that. It's convenient, cheap and cheerful and the staff are lovely and professional.
I am going back in 3 weeks time for a treatment with Adam (as recommended). I cant wait.
I went to sheba salon for a wash and blow dry. I have a curly African hair and I find it hard to find a salon near my area who can give me a simple nice blow dry without using to much heat.
Sheba salon is the one for me now! My hair feels amazing.
From the moment I arrived she was so lovely. Offered me tea and biscuits.
Washed my hair good and gave me a head massage. After that started blow drying my hair. The blow dry was quick. She didn’t use a lot heat like other salons. Sheba knew how to handle my hair. What I loved is at the end how she styled my hair. Nice curls at the end. Just how I wanted it.
Definitely going back and booking next time a scalp treatment. She gave me lots of advise too how to take care of my hair.
As mentioned I find it hard to find a good hairdresser who understands African hair in my area in Marylebone. I am glad to have found sheba hair salon. Highly recommend her for all hair types.
