I only had a brief chance to explain what I wanted to an assistant before she translated it for the hairdresser and disappeared. In brief, I really wasn't happy with the end result and put this down to not being able to communicate with the stylist.

Great hairdresser though his Englished is limited so he has a translator.
He cut my hair very well though ever so slightly short around my face.
Next I will merely explain that he needs to keep it under my chin.
Overall I thought he was very experienced and pleasant.
