Great experience. Friendly staff and clean space
first time definitely I'll be back! thank you 😉
I was really happy with my nails. Really nice clean work. The salon is very clean also. The lady was very professional. I will be going back for sure!
Lovely experience as always! I usually come to Sheer for my laser treatment with Marilyn, but thought I’d try out Gel nails for the first time. Safe to say I loved them and will be back again! Marilyn, Edit and the team are always so welcoming and lovely, made me feel like a regular as soon as I walked in the door. Can not recommend Sheer enough!
I’ve been a loyal customer of Sheer since Day 1. I first visited shortly before transitioning from male to female, late in 2017. That was to have my nails painted for the very first time. I was nervous and under a lot of strain at the time, but Marilyn was bright and welcoming, and reassured me, so everything was OK. I’ve since returned many times for beautiful gel nail painting - including once nail art - by the talented Edit, gentle and wise. Joint owner Marilyn has bravely taken on the task of laser hair removal for me. During our initial consultation, she listened, was patient, and took care to explain every aspect of the treatment, clearly and simply. I never felt under pressure to sign up for an expensive course of treatments, as I have at other places. Indeed, Marilyn offered me a pay as you go plan, which suited me perfectly. The treatment itself can be painful, but Marilyn absolutely minimises this with her friendly ‘bedside manner’. Excellent results too. Truly she is the Da Vinci of laser hair removal. Overall, Sheer has a real family atmosphere. Everyone - staff and customers - is relaxed and people chat happily to each other. The salon itself is spotless and beautifully decorated, and it’s in a lovely historic street too - a stone’s throw from the Thames and Eel Pie Island, where the Rolling Stones played some of their first gigs. I would recommend this wonderful salon to anybody for any treatment. They don’t just make you look good outside - they make you feel good inside too. Try it once and you’ll love it, I’m very sure about that.
