Extremely relaxing place to come and sit and chill out after work to get your hair done. All staff are very friendly and welcoming. And most importantly, my hair looks AMAZING!

The woman who cut my hair was very friendly and seemed very knowledgeable, recommending colours for my highlights. She let me choose through a book of colours, which seems to rarely be done these days, so I felt I had a choice and knew what I was going for.
The salon was fine, nothing amazing but clean. I was the only client there, so it was lacking a buzzing atmosphere a bit.
My only real disappointment was that it ended up costing me more than I had thought it would. I paid £40 on Wahanda for a half head of highlights and a cut, however when I came in they said my hair was 'long' and that it would therefore cost £10 more. I don't consider myself to have really long hair (a few inches below my shoulders), but they said that anything longer than a bob counted. I had seen this mentioned on the website so I wasn't too annoyed to pay this. However they then told me it was an extra £10 for having more than 1 colour highlight, which wasn't mentioned on the website. In the past I have had up to 3 colours put in, and I didn't want it to look terrible, so I agreed to paying £10 for another colour. So the final cost was £60, which is still relatively cheap, but I would have liked to have known it would cost this beforehand.
Saying that, I was very happy with the final colour and cut, it was exactly as I had wanted it and the woman was very precise, and I would be happy to go back in the knowledge of what I would pay.
Excellent highlights and cut!
The only thing is that they were so busy. I was left at the sinks for about half an hour, and I was being shuffled from person to person, depending on who was busiest at the moment.
But the cut and highlights were so good, it balances everything out!
I had the half head of highlights and a hair cut at Chic. The highlights were fantastic and the guy (I didn't get this name) did a great job. My hair cut was also good, done by Slyvia. I was charged an additional £18 for a blow dry, which seemed a bit much given it took less than 10 minutes. Overall I was pleased with the result though.
Realised I had been here many years ago. Much updated salon, many staff. Was kinda vague about my style - looked at some mags with stylist and then left it to him. Confident cuts, quick and efficient.
SO pleased with the final cut.
