Appalling service!
I booked for a 45 minute £38 signature blowdry for a wedding.
Instead I was paying up within 25 minutes. Bearing in mind they had also washed my hair, this means I got about 10-15 mins max of a blowdry. I questioned this and was told up to 45mins is what they actually mean. Obviously it dropped out immediately.
The venue was stunning and we were really well looked after. As an experience and a treat for my friends birthday, it was good value for money.
My only slight issue was with the gel manicure itself. Our beautician was really lovely, however trimmed my cuticles on 3 fingers too short, which was quite painful and resulted in them bleeding. This was painful for days afterwards if washing hands in water that was a little too hot etc, and also tarnished the manicure as having scabs on your nail bed does slightly detract from ‘perfect nails’.
I had a light blue painted - I loved the colour and whilst 2 coats of colour is the standard for shellac it wasn’t enough for this colour, or more should have been applied in these 2 coats as the final result is a bit patchy in places and you can see through to the nail in some lights. There are also a few bubbles and what looks like grit on a few of my nails which I don’t normally get.
Me and my friend would definitely come back but maybe for a blow dry rather than a manicure!
