Welcoming therapist and very attentive and thorough manicure. After a day in the office, holding up well and no sign of chipping. Walking distance from both Euston & King's Cross stations.
Like everyone else has said here, the massage was really spot on and have made me feel so much better afterwards. it really surprised me how much power she has in her tiny hands! Will go back again for sure!
I had originally booked a slot at True Inner Self who were rude and rescheduled my appointment without asking me what other time would work. When I spoke to the lovely people at Wahanda, they found me a time and date I could do at this Thai Massage Salon and I wasn't sure what to expect - it turned out amazing. The location is ideal for me as I don't live in London so I come into St Pancras and it's a ten minute work from there. When I got to the Salon it was very clean but also quite small so again, wasn't sure what to think. I was half an hour early but was greeted with a warm smile and pretty much taken straight through to the treatment room. The room, again, is very small, just about enough room to fit the bed in but it is a nice atmosphere with relaxing music, warm colours and I felt very comfortable as soon as I was on the bed. When my therapist, Poppy, came in she had a little chat with me to find out about any injuries, issues or preferences which was much appreciated. She also asked me about the strength of treatment I was looking for and told me to let her know should the pressure be too much. Even though Poppy is tiny she has the strongest hands I have ever come across. She was very focused and found each and every tense muscle in my body. She kept checking on me to see if I was ok. Even though the treatment was very painful, it was the good kind of pain where you know you will feel so much better afterwards. I asked her where she got all her strength from and she said that whilst she massages she meditates so she could really feel what she needs to do which I found quite interesting. After the treatment I was offered some water and given a leaflet and 10%off voucher for the next visit and I will certainly return. I needed all that tension rubbed out of my back and Poppy did exactly that, I would recommend the place to everyone who is looking for a proper deep tissue/Thai treatment. And thanks to the team at Wahanda who helped me find a replacement for the appointment I had booked. x
The lady took great care and performed the manicure with great level of detail....My only complaint is that when cutting the cuticles she nipped off a bit of skin causing bleeding. otherwise prompt and good..
I was late and my hands were in very bad condition but the staff was patient, friendly and very professional. I'm not embarassed about the way my nails look now. The salon is very cozy too.
