The spa wasn't open when I arrived 3 minutes before my appointment time and a member of staff wouldn't open the locked door, trying to communicate with me through the glass window. It was a freezing morning and, when she eventually unlocked the door, asked me to wait in the street as no therapists had arrived. She looked in the appointment book but couldn't find me and I tried to explain my appointment was made through Treatwell, she claimed she hadn't heard of Treatwell. She made a phone call and let me into the spa when my appointment was 'found'. So... frozen from my time in icy winds stood outside the spa, frosty reception from an unwelcoming member of staff, I was then ushered into a VERY cold treatment room. The therapist was late arriving and appeared flustered. I did not receive the Reflexology treatment for which I'd paid £30, just a foot massage which was more or less just a 30 minute version of my husband's foot-rub.
