It was a good experience. I went for this first time - pain was much less I imagined.
If I can get the same offer , I will definitely go for that. But normal rate is expensive for me.
Overall experience is good.
I enjoyed the facial thoroughly, but after reading up on the web about decleor facials and the special back massage you receive prior to the facial beginning, I was disappointed to not receive this part of the treatment. I'm not sure if Silky Smooth Beauty doesn't do that? Whilst I left the centre with very soft skin, I was also disappointed that there was no steaming or extractions. There was also no communication from the therapist on what they were doing and what they were putting on my face, which I would have appreciated as some of the creams and scrubs I suspect had a bit of a peel element since my face started to burn/tingle at certain points. Most therapists will also ask if you have claustrophobia issues before they apply thick face masks which require them to put the paste over your eyes and lips. I have to admit I was very freaked out by this when the paste was applied to my eyes and lips without any prior warning, particularly given it was a very warm face mask. Again, I enjoyed the facial... a lot of massaging and relaxing... but I'm not sure I'd return for it as I prefer to have a bit more of a robust facial with steam and extractions.
She started with my legs instead of back, which is a bit unusual but still found it enjoyable. I would have appreciated perhaps a hot towel though afterwards as quite a bit of oil was used and I would have preferred to wipe myself down before dressing again.
Second time here for the therapeutic massage - even better than the first time!
I booked through Wahanda and got the discount again - was told after that it was ok third time but the offer was for first time customers only, that would have to pay full price next time. I don't remember seeing any rule when I was booking? I felt bad, but this needs to be more obvious so don't think it was my fault
