Ladies' Waxing
I have gone through 6 sessions of laser hair removal on my upper lip and chin. Not only did the issue not get better- it is now by far worse. I used to have a few odd hair I had been plucking out. After shaving of the areas before the first procedure, a lot more started growing out, and after 6 sessions none have disappeared. I now have to shave both areas every other day not to look like a caveman.
I have spoken to therapists a few times after each session, and everyone kept on telling me I would see the results 'soon'. However, as I said, things look worse now than they used to and I really regret having gone with the laser removal, which was meant to make my life easier, not difficult. I get that some top up sessions may be required, but these should be light touch ups!
At the last session, the therapist said she did not know why the hair were not disappearing. She recommended checking hormones, which incidentally I had done through GP a few weeks back and which have not shown anything out of the norm, so hormones were definitely not to blame. Overall, not pleased at all.
