Sira didn't even ask why I had booked an acupuncture appointment before she asked me to get on the table. I insisted to explain why I was there as I thought it was important, but she clearly was going to give me the standard treatment- no personal diagnosis, which made me start doubting. She started with the needles and some of them were painful, which should not be the case at all. Then she put her hands on my face and they smelt of tobacco - not quite the relaxation experience I had in mind. I told her the smell was bothering me and she took it personally, said I shouldn't be complaining and stopped the treatment half way through it.
This was a complete waste of my time and money, and I asked to get my money back and she said she would cancel the appointment on treatwell so I could get reimbursed, but I haven't received anything.
This is shocking service, totally unprofessional. She then went on about how her life was difficult at the moment, but again, personal matters cannot impact your professionalism. Absolutely shocking, would not recommend to anyone.
The therapist was lovely and intuitive and overall it was a great massage - super relaxing and also the reiki she incorporated did me a world of good. However, there were basic things that made the overall experience less than luxurious or relaxing - such as the room being very cold (which she did do her best to rectify) and the door bell going off or a phone ringing during the treatment. Her hands were cold too, which wasn't great. It was good value for money though and the overall vibe of the place was positive
The time of my massage was mixed up meaning that I had to wait for 30 minutes, which was a shame. The waiting room was very cramped with lots of people. The actual therapist Sara and the massage were really lovely, but I think the whole service was overpriced and must be based on location.
