The beauty therapist was very nice and put me at ease quite quickly, although the place was very quiet and probably could have done with some background music to set the scene for a relaxing spa treatment. The microdermabrasion unit is perhaps not the best one out there but I was very pleased with my skin afterwards, so for the value of the treatment I would return. Overall it's a nice place to visit for shorter treatments and I would recommend it for their value and good customer service.
I went to Unikiss for a gel manicure. At first I thought the salon was new / being renovated because of the lack of facilities but it was not. The staff members were nice and polite but there were only 2 of them that I saw. When I tried to pick a colour for the shellac manicure she informed that they didn't have some of the colours, which was a bit of a let down. My nails started chipping after 2 days- usually when I get a gel manicure it doesn't chip until after a week. Overall, the salon atmosphere was definitely a 2/5. They need more staff and I don't feel that my manicure was worth the price I paid, even with a Wahanda discount.
Highly recommend a treatment at the Unikiss. It was easy to make an appointment. I had a male therapist, which I had never had before, wasn't sure about a man waxing my legs at first, but now I have had it done, I can say he is the best waxer in town, excellent, very speedy yet thorough.
1. no problem to book an appointment 2. clean place 3. very friendly staff 3. I went for massage and my muscle pain after sport left me for good ( or till the next exercise :)) 4. I got discount offers after the visit from the therapist and plan to use it. 5. Parking - not a problem , near by on small streets (11-12 resident permit only ) and it's just in front of Hendon central tube station , I think
It's a very simple looking place, and because I was the only client at that point it felt rally quiet (no background music or anything). The therapists were nice and they did a good job, but I wouldn't recommend the place unless its an amazing deal.
