the place is quite accessible. the nearest train station brings you to the high road and the place is like a 5 minute walk from the station.
the building is of a tanning shop and the skin life is down stairs. its only a small room so its basically one client at a time, however outside the room is a little sitting area but it is better to come by yourself. i must say the down stair decor is quite elegant yet simplistic. i really liked it, it also gives you a calm feeling whilst your waiting to be seen.
when i got there i was a bit early so i had to wait a little while for the therapist to get ready. it is only one therapist that works there and she does everything which didnt bother me. It was my first ever microdermabrasion so i didnt know what to expect. she was VERY informative letting me know what she was doing every step of the way and she also informed me of some of the benefits of the microdermabrasion.
the process consisted of a facial, extraction (i requested for it), the microdermabrasion treatment, a mask with some time for relaxation, a mini massage with a moisturizer. i have to say this was one of the best 40 minutes of my time. I loved everything that she did. she was very attentive and personal to my skin type.
at the end she gave me her business card just in case if i would like to book more treatments. her regular price is a bit pricey but i do think it is worth it.
i would definitely go back there again.
This is an appointment I had several months ago at this location but it was so good I went back for more appointments and kept in touch with the therapist for future offers she might have for the variety of treatments she offers at this location.
The salon itself is located on the lower ground of this building with the tanning facilities on the ground floor eager to receive my custom too, giving me several tanning sessions for free. The location is across the road from High St Kensington tube with lots of shops to pop in as I arrived earlier for my session.
Despite being new to the UK, the therapist spoke English slowly in order to be understood when she explained to me what she is going to do and her many years of experiece proved how good she is at this.

Microdermabrasion
I absolutely loved the microdermabrasion treatment I received from Skin Life. The therapist was very friendly and advised me on how to look after my skin, which is quite acne prone. The machine they used is very effective and I will definitely be returning for a full course treatment.
Excellent customer service by Rutme. She also went the extra mile and removed some nasties which wasn't exactly part of the treatment I bought. She clearly is an expert at what she does and I will therefore be going back. I have acne scarring and pitting and this treatment helped with the pores and scars. I will be having the Dermaroller with her next. Highly recommended.
