I found my eyebrow wax more painful than usual but as I am quite sensitive I thought nothing on it until an hour or so later when I got home and looked in the mirror. Both eyes were swollen up and red and one eye had a white blister where the wax had burnt my skin. Now days later the burnt eye is still a bit puffy has a nasty red mark and flaking skin. I've had eyebrow waxes at Skin & Tonic before and had no problems beyond the usual redness so unless they have changed their products I am fairly certain it was not an allergic reaction just a very poor wax that's left me looking like I've been in a fight! Skin & Tonic is very cheap but it shows and I won't risk going there again.
My wax was excellent, and Sam was very friendly and thorough. She made the wax much less painful than other waxes I've had in the past, and she didn't rush which I've also knows other waxers to do. Thanks so much I'm very pleased!
