Great wax and super quick as well. On time and not rushed as sometimes happens at salons. Great value for money

Unfortunately this was a bit of a disaster. The beautician stood too close to me and the spray was dripping off my face rather than going on in an even mist. She also didn't put any barrier cream on my knees or feet etc. Then to make matters worse the machine broke and dumped a whole lot of liquid on my torso that was running and dripping everywhere. They couldn't fix the machine so then I had to shower so I didn't end up with an extremely streaky tan on random parts of my body. The beautician was nice enough but it was rather frustrating to waste an hour out of work not getting a tan. It was all a bit farcical.
The salon could have been cleaner as it felt a bit grubby in there.

The wax was an okay hollywood wax, it wasn't great but okay. It wasn't necessarily a bad experience, it just wasn't the most comfortable that I've had. My main issue was with my therapist, I did not feel comfortable around her at all which I think is very important with a hollywood wax. I wouldn't go there again for a hollywood wax but for any of their other services I think they would be fine.

I first discovered this salon through a Groupon deal. It is located in the busy Roman Road market area, but is a perfect haven of peace & tranquility. The treatment rooms are clean, spacious & nicely lit, and they have shower facilities. I have had several massages from Sam and she is an excellent therapist, always willing to adapt the routine to suit my personal requirements. She also has a really nice personality. They often have special offers for various treatments, and the prices are very reasonable anyway. I shall be going back regularly. My only minor complaint is that they don't take credit cards.
