I've visited this salon before and had the best gel manicure and the venue is lovely and the staff are really friendly.
However, I had a vinylux manicure, as all vinylux wearers know no base coat should be used. I flagged this when the staff member began to apply the base coat - that a base coat should be used, however they insisted and wouldn't listen.
Result - by the next morning (less than 15 hours) 9 out of 10 nails have chipped

I've been going to Skye tens of times to get Gel Mani/Pedi and I have always received great service. Technicians are highly skilled (and incredibly fast!), there's a very big variety of polishes to choose from and everyone's nice and friendly. Some might say it's a little pricier than other places in the area but I'd say the quality is worth the money.
