The location, the peacefulness of the sitting area, great food and just a great relaxing time. Also being able to have treatments at the same time was great. This is something that we find hard to come by.

This is the second time I have visited Skylark with my mum. I originally booked a spa day for my mum as a birthday present but when we got there they had messed up our booking so we was unfortunately unable to have the afternoon tea. The gym manager was friendly and offered for us to come back again anytime we liked for free, which we thought was a generous offer. So the second time we came back we was expecting a better experience but yet again they had messed up our booking and no afternoon tea had been booked. As this was the second time this had happened to us, the kitchen staff managed to scramble something together so we were able to have afternoon tea but it left my mum and I very disappointed. The actual massage was lovely and the staff are very friendly and I especially like the unlimited free hot and cold drinks. I think the pool area needs an update as the sun bed covers are very grubby and I think its a bit strange that there are no changing rooms and you can basically see other people in the shower. Unfortunately we will not be returning to Skylark.
