Ouch - thinning my hair & brushing through really hurt. Felt like I was at a dog groomer. Also, jury's out on whether it was a real keratin treatment. He wouldn't say what brand he was using & *he washed it off before the blow dry* - that's not right, is it? I have had one from Saks in the past & they left it on. He said that must have been one with formaldehyde but I've checked & they used nanokeratin... Haven't washed my hair yet so unsure... There was also the loud sound of water flowing continually (which became intensely irritating)
Plus points: cheaper than most (which I needed this time).
+ actual hair cut when finished = good.
My colour came out lighter than wanted due to keratin treatment afterwards *however* this was thoroughly explained to me beforehand, so my fault for booking the two together, perhaps.
Had my first ever Brazilian blow dry. Despite being a bit late because my sat nav sent me to the wrong side of the road, Sanj was very welcoming and chatty. I was given an understanding of the process and everything whilst he was doing my hair and overall I'm very pleased with the results!
This was my first time to the salon and was the best value for money Keratin blow-dry that I have ever had. The hairdresser took his time to apply the Keratin thoroughly and I am very pleased with the results. The salon itself isn't the nicest but if you can look beyond the aesthetics and want a good value for money Keratin blow-dry then I would highly recommend it - just take a book, snacks and a drink because you will be there for a few hours!
